New Year’s celebrations 2010 in Malaysia were celebrated in full colors by all of Malaysian. Shouts of "Happy New Year" and 'Satu Malaysia' filled the air as the clock struck midnight. This is one of the image of the way New Year’s celebration in Malaysia today. Besides, not only in Malaysia but all over the world, welcome the New Year for it is one of the oldest of all holidays. Most New Year celebrations focus on family and friends. It is a time to reflect on the past and envision a future, perhaps, in a world where people live together in harmony. New Year celebration is on the first day of January but not all New Year celebrations take place on the same day or in the same way! Sometimes this is because people in different parts of the world use different calendars. It is based on the movement of the moon around the Earth. Adults and children have many different ways of welcoming their New Year, like have a dinner party together. Some people like to celebrate their New Year’s celebration with their friends and like to countdown the golden time of the last ten second of New Year welcoming with colourful fireworks, music and dance rocked the city as thousands partied to welcome the arrival of New Year.
